Cancelling a recurring charge
This type of business is internet based, if you're going to use a credit or debit card, this is the place. Visa is more card holder friendly than MasterCard but the merchant agreement has the same rules. Attempt to contact the merchant, (Attempt can be as simple as trying to call or email, if the merchant doesn't respond it doesn't matter.)
Call your bank, dispute the charge as "Cancelled recurring" or "Not as Described" You have 120 days from the date of last contact or attempted contact to initiate a dispute. You can charge back every charge that's within that 120 day span. You'll have to write a letter explaining your point and the bank will submit the chargeback. The merchant's acquirere will attempt to rebut the chargeback, you'll have to add one additional page of new cardholder doc, (an additional letter, reiterating the complaint is enough) and the bank will continue the case. this is the point where most merchant's will allow the case to drop and the cardholder's "conditional credit" becomes an actual credit.
